Who we are
Tim and Barbara-Lee Glessner have served in Puebla, Mexico since 2004 and have participated in two church plants. Their current church, Pueblo de Esperanza (“A People of Hope”) began in 2013 and is focused on reaching the neighborhood of Pueblo Nuevo, a working-class area with significant social issues.
With the church, the Glessners have partnered with schools and local authorities, formed a thriving flag football team and started a non-profit, GOTA de Esperanza (“Drop of Hope”) to serve the neighborhood. In 2024 God allowed GOTA to build a 3-story building which will serve as a hub for community outreach, housing a coffee-shop, English classes, Christian counseling and housing for short-term partners. They are excited both about what God has done to bring this long-time dream to reality and what He has for the outreach work in Pueblo Nuevo going forward.
