Spring in the Pacific Northwest! That's kind of old news, since spring has been here for over two months, but we are enjoying it in all its glory. This has been an unusually warm, dry spring, which means that the blossoms were out earlier, with extra fragrance, and we were outside more, enjoying the sun and the colors. Strawberries are ripening earlier than usual, too--we just got the first batch from Mom's Garden! We had a good time with Barbara-Lee's parents last week, impressing them with the cool but dry Washington spring (they thought quite highly of their grandson, too). Normally, we try not to rhapsodize on the weather, but we are appreciating this time just a bit more than normal, since it appears, Lord willing, to be our last spring in the NW for a while. Based on our current level of support, we are anticipating that we will be able to move to Puebla no later than September--but Lord willing sometime in August. So we are breathing a little deeper, going to the waterfront an extra time or two, and appreciating every view of the Mountain (Rainier, for you non-Northwesterners!).

We are currently working on the details of moving that we mentioned in our last letter: selling stuff, passports, visa, etc. Honestly, moving doesn't make very interesting writing, so we'll spare you the details! But we do very much appreciate your prayers as we try to do our part to solidify plans and wait for the Lord to bring in the last little bit.

It has been good to interact with neighbors about the gospel these past few weeks. Besides Todd, Tim's talked with a few others and extended invitations to church. It was also exciting to see Keith, the boy saved at Awana, finish his Start Zone and to give him a Bible of his own. We've also enjoyed visiting a Spanish-speaking church thirty minutes north of here on Thursday nights. The Lord continues to open doors of service, and we trust He's preparing us for Mexico in these times.
