Wow, how fast a month goes and now Christmas and the New Year are past. This Christmas we found many opportunities to share with children about "el regalo mas grande" (the greatest gift.) The kids have been receptive in Sunday School as well as Kids' club (here in our neighborhood) to the truth about Christ our Savior, who came to change lives. We are encouraged with the children that are faithfully attending.

We have decided to move to a different building for our church services. It's a definite fixer-upper. We will be sharing with another church plant and therefore sharing the responsibility/ cost of revamping the new place. It's coming along but it has taken a lot of Tim's time helping remodel. We had our first service there on Dec 23 with a special dinner and Christmas celebration. It was a thrill to have a church member's brother there. He's been very sick and hostile to the Lord, so it was exciting to see God's hand in his life in two areas. We would love to see some of the new families that have enjoyed Bible studies this fall begin attending in the New Year at the new building.

Tim will be preaching into the New Year as Christian takes some time to be with his family in Acapulco during this Christmas. Please pray for Tim as he juggles the routine demands of ministry, in addition to finishing up the remodel of our new building. Thank you for praying for him as he went up to the north mountain country of Puebla. He thoroughly enjoyed his time there. It was amazing to treat over 500 people in four days, share the gospel with them and see several accept Christ.

Also, as we have mentioned over the past months, we are going to hold a church integration class in January and from there begin asking members to step up to different leadership roles. Please pray for people to commit to serving in the church. And if all goes well with this we would like to take a furlough starting summer of 2008. We want to be mindful of the needs of the church, but we feel that it might be best for the church body to take responsibility for much of the work and see the Lord working through them for His glory. Please pray with us in regard to that major decision.

We hope that during this Christmas season you were able to enjoy unwrapping the greatest gift ever and that in the New Year you will find opportunities to share Christ with others and love Him with all your heart, soul and mind. We are so thankful for you and your prayers. We trust that the Lord will work in many lives in amazing ways this New Year.

Grace be with you.
