Two Sundays ago, Barbara-Lee met before church with a young lady, Karina. Karina has come to church for two years, but only this past spring, studying in Mexico City, she accepted the Lord and has been really transformed. She is hungry for the Bible, reading it and trying to apply it to her life. Barbara-Lee came away greatly encouraged, and mindful of Karina's need for discipleship. We are thankful for God's work in Karina's life.

We are doing four evening Bible studies during the week, Tuesday through Friday. It has been exciting to have many opportunities to present the gospel clearly to those who need to hear and accept it. Friday nights especially are a dynamic group, starting around 9 PM and finishing around 11. It has been particularly exciting to have two families from Madero University attending that study. These are individuals Tim has been working with for three years. They are full of questions.

Two Mondays ago we began a Kids' Bible Club in the youth center next to our house (taking the place of youth group). We are working with a neighborhood pastor, a neighbor, Christian, the young lady, Miriam, who lives with us, and a lady from church. The first night there were 37 kids (in the rain). This past Monday night there were 14. We're not too worried about numbers; our hope is to see God bring a core group of interested kids who can grow up knowing Him and introducing their families to Him.

As you can see by these points, we've been keeping busy. We're excited to be part of what God is doing here and we're working hard just to keep up. On Sunday Tim goes to the mountain country in the north of Puebla. He'll be part of a medical caravan working in a small, needy village where a church has been started. We hope that our church in Puebla will be able to help support the work there in Cuautotola (say that ten times fast!)

It would be good to give you an update on the people we asked you to pray for in August:

1. Liz Carrillo: Pray for her as she's had some health problems and work pressures.

2. Emmanuel & Mariel Bretón: They had a baby boy, Fabian, on October 25. Everyone is healthy, they are adjusting well, and our church is providing meals. This is a great opportunity to encourage Emmanuel in his walk with God.

3. Silvia Chávez: Her brother, Sergio, with whom she was estranged for many years, is very ill. Silvia has renewed the relationship and been a witness, in word and deed, to him and his family. Her niece has accepted Christ.

4. Hiram Carpinteyro: Is committed in working with music at church.

5. Leandro Lozada: He has been making mature choices in a relationship. He is leading a Bible study with some friends.

6. Dr. Pedro Carrillo and his wife Emi: They have been having health problems--mainly eye-related. He may be going to Cuautotola to help.

7. Christian Cruz: He continues to grow in leadership, especially in studies and music.

Thank you for your prayers for these individuals.

PRAISE
1. We went to a conference in Mexico City and were able to buy many materials, mainly for children's ministry and Bibles.
2. For the good responses in Bible studies.
3. We are most likely moving to another facility that will allow us more regular access, more space, and a much cheaper rent.

PRAYER
1. We badly need to work on the structure and organization of the church. Pray for wisdom and skill in doing so.
2. Please pray for the kid’s ministry, that we will make good connections with children and their families.
3. For the trip to Cuautotola.
4. A couple in the church is working through resolving family problems brought on by pre-salvation sin.

How much we need your prayers! Thank you!

Grace be with you.
